Jewish Archaelogical finds, “palestinians,” Hebrews, Muslims, Islam, Israelis, and Islam – Archaeology.
✡️ Politics of archaeology in Israel and Palestine ☪️
[The] destruction of irreplaceable archaeological artifacts [by Muslims] is considered to be part of a larger trend of Temple denial. Denying Jewish connection to the Temple Mount began at the 2000 Camp David Summit, when the Palestinian Authority Chairman Yasser Arafat insisted that “the Temple” existed near Shechem (Nablus), and not on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.
This claim has been taken up in the international narrative as UNESCO passed an initiative claiming the Temple Mount as an exclusively Muslim holy site. This claim went mainstream last October when the New York Times published an article questioning whether the two Jewish Temples ever existed at all.

Israel is a talented nation that somehow manages to defend itself, even though it is surrounded by the some of the most vicious regimes on our planet. Yet, it is also one of the most hated nations in the world- much like the United States. It is also glaringly obvious that there are closeted antisemites….
…Should they just give up their holy city, backed by thousands of years of evidence, to the rogue menace next door? It is not in the world’s best interests to give something as powerful and influential as Jerusalem over to Palestine, a terrorist nation….
